#AI is a tool.

Not a crutch.

Not a replacement.

Not a coworker.

Use it to automate, reduce workload, and grease the wheels of your process. But don't remove the human from the designs. #UX #design

What at first might look like an #accessibility win could actually be a nightmare when evaluated with expert eyes. Implementing #a11y with knowledge, care, and caution is what creates successful interfaces that serve all audiences. #UX #design

It doesn't matter how great your #AI #automation workflow is if you haven't worked through practical #QA and #UX problems.

I, too, would be mad with this abuse of visual hierarchy, regardless of whether or not I was in Ngland. #UX #UI #Design

Our sites got bit by the Cloudflare issue.

It happened minutes after I had logged into our server and made some very minor page edits. I thought for a heartbeat I had taken down our site completely somehow and was absolutely freaking out.

I'm glad it wasn't me, but I may need to change my pants.

Working behind the scenes on this fascinating talk on #AI in the workplace, put on my by colleagues at SDSU Global Campus with Michael Todasco. If you have a few minutes, drop by - it's a great way to spend a lunch hour. #UX #design

I can't understand why car dealerships have settled on the "abusive, gaslighting family" model of customer experience.

I want to buy a car *without* a salesperson convincing me that this dealer is the only one I can trust while the finance officer secretly schemes to bleed my bank account dry.

There's something magical about discovering a domain you owned 20+ years ago that you lost, got shuffled around between different owners, and thought you'd never see again, is free again.

It's absolutely made my morning to get back this small piece of personal history.

Broke Roger during assembly, but I'm tempted to leave him this way for historical accuracy.

My singular goal in life is to someday be as happy as all my kitchen appliances.

11-year old me was pretty proud of this collection.

41 year old me is still pretty stoked to have it around.

Job search life:

Some days you spam semi-custom resumes and get a few dozen out the door.

Some days you spend hours crafting the perfect resume and cover letter from a job.

Through either method, my response rate (getting anything back at all after sending confirmation) is about 12%.

Share you struggle. Your missed opportunities. Your regrets.

When we suffer in silence, we struggle alone.

When we speak out, we find that there's no problem so unique there aren't thousands of others working through it as well.

We're all in this together. Let's help each other out. #yougotthis

Decided my job application inbox needed a cleanout after a few months of steady declines and ghosting.

I deleted *753* rejection emails.

Bad juju removed, but it was a reminder to say this:

If you - like me - are searching for a job, keep your chin up. Onward. Forward. We got this. #jobsearch
