Please forward this thread on Bhattacharya’s terrible recent writing to as many people as you can.

Jay Bhattacharya has his Senate hearing today, and the NYT publishes a fawning opinion essay about him (just as happened during the Kavanaugh and Gorsuch hearings). People are trying to whitewash him.
Another thing that should scare all scientists from Bhattacharya's CV:
In 2020 he pivoted to popular press COVID denial work.

Here's his "commentary and op-ed" CV section.

It is frightening. Article after article in the far-right press attacking science.
