Damn the meshtastic network here grew. With 7 hops limit I got almost 200 nodes seen over last night.

The little Meshtastic node inside of my ThinkPad T420s is surprisingly good (one of the antennas measured quite well for the frequencies used, so I wired it in. I assume it was meant for GNSS? Or UMTS?).

After managing to hack together a way to flash my ThinkPad T420s from libreboot back to the stock BIOS (but modified to enable more options and disable all kinds of allowlists IBM/Lenovo like to have), I can now run Windows 7 on it.
And this is truly the OS […]

Distant Horizons (the Minecraft mod) works well with the shaders in my current modpack and can produce some beautiful landscapes :3

Somehow, in a certain way, there's nothing as relaxing as listening to records. The impulse to constantly skip tracks suppressed by the inability to do so. And in a way I feel this is actually helpful to me.

Having a phone number with an area code where you know no one is great. I literally blocked 406-* on my phone and it catches 99% of spam that my carrier doesn't already block x3

Ahahahahha, I win, and all it took was to call a function that says "Don't use in new code" (drm_fb_helper_damage_area). Sorry for the bad contrast, but :D

Oh, well, that's unexpected. I finally figured out how to enable developer mode on the Lytro Illum thanks to some random archived manuals I never saw before (basically hold two buttons while its booting).

Oh, well, that's unexpected. I finally figured out how to enable developer mode on the Lytro Illum thanks to some random archived manuals I never saw before (basically hold two buttons while its booting).
