Did calligraphy as a present for a friend's wedding, and they liked it so much that they put it on display outside the dining hall!
Calligraphy of Shakespeare's Sonnet 116 in a black frame. It is propped up against a vase of purple and white flowers, with candles either side. The same calligraphy, in a black wooden frame laid on grass. It is in the italic style, with gold and silver decorations above and below the poem. At the bottom it reads "George and Rachel, 27th May 2023". The calligraphy is that of a talented novice, with good letter shapes but inconsistent letter widths, and occasional wonky letters. Two of the lines have had to be broken to fit on the page.
