That's the thing. Most not only don't care. They have to actively fight the urge to care, because thatbwould put their responsibility to do something before them. And they just won't do anything.
Farage has been targeting my immigration group since the early 2010s. I'm confident, that, just like during the run up to the Brexit vote, my English colleagues will completely downplay my stress and fear, xenophobic threats made at my family, proceed to ghost me and provide no help and support.
Reform are now coming after people with permanent residency. It'll be citizens next. No one is safe from authoritarian governments.
