I didn't know until today that we had a United States Institute for Peace. Yay us. But it is kinda funny when you think about it... I mean, historically speaking, we're not all that big on peace.

Went to the VA for an annual check-up on Monday and got a measles vaccine, too. All I had to do was ask. Reportedly, my first one back in 1962 wasn't the best. If you're a Vet and got your measles vaccine around the same time, you should check into it. Google the range of years for the dead virus.

Happy to see that one of our probationary employees returned to work today. Great kid. Hard worker. Like the rest of us, he could still be RIFfed but at least he has a chance now.
