Xcel Energy contractor Osmose is working on a utility pole on our block, and one of the workers wrote "BLM is a joke" in chalk on the sidewalk.

They tried to wipe it away after someone complained, and then claimed it said "FML it sucks." So...what the hell Xcel?

What do I do with Bill Cosby records? Also $25 -> $0.50 still seems like a fall too small.

Hey Minnesota: I'm looking for folks (particularly in Duluth) who want to talk about how changing winter climate has impacted their sense of identity as Minnesotans and changed how they think about winter.

It's for an upcoming @startribune.com column. Hit me up!

The owner/chef at Kado No Mise personally does kintsugi to fix all the dishes. And they are licensed to serve blowfish. And they seem to be the only restaurant in the Midwest to do kaiseki. No competition for best sushi in Minneapolis

Twin Cities Skaters Studio in Uptown is all joy. Such a cool space, cool people, and the best thing to happen to a Crate & Barrel

How are Minnesota folks watching timberwolves games? I have no interest in Fubo or paying solely for FanDuel. So is it just “the internet”?

Earlier this morning I stepped outside, looked at the stars in the sky, and noticed one star get very bright and then blink out. I know there’s the Leonid meteor shower, but is that a thing for a meteor to not move in the sky? Or maybe I’m just going insane?

The Hennepin County Fix-It Clinic is incredible. A volunteer just helped me fix an electric kettle. Saved money, kept junk out of a landfill, and hung out with the friendliest tinkerers. 10/10
