Nancy Mace went on TV and told pregnant people not to take Tylenol and to take ibuprofen instead.

And, I cannot stress enough, HOW STUPID THAT IS. Ibuprofen is PROVEN to cause fetal complications. Has been for years. TYLENOL HAS NOT. EVER.

On a foul’s errand!
Hooray for my brave old colleagues in the EDVA US attorneys office. They've apparently produced a memo laying out while there's no PC to indict Comey. If Trump flunky Lindsey Halligan goes ahead and indicts him anyway, she could be looking at severe professional sanctions even possibly disbarment.

John Roberts liked to think he would be ranked among the great chief justices.

And probably that is what everyone he ever encounters tells him.

The rest of us think: Step aside, Roger Taney. It's now Roberts on his own.
#BREAKING: Over dissents from Justices Sotomayor, Kagan & Jackson, #SCOTUS grants a stay in the Slaughter case (allowing President Trump to remove the last Dem member of the FTC), *and* grants certiorari "before judgment" to decide whether to formally overrule its 1935 ruling in Humphrey's Executor.

Most Americans/US media are aware of K-Pop and know of Korean-US population. But have not lived or worked in ROK. Lack a sense of on what points, and why, Korean history, dignity, and self-respect are at stake.

If the US *wanted* to offend a crucial partner, it could not have done worse.
Meanwhile in Korean media there is clarity that Trump directed this raid out of spite following his Oval Office meeting with the ROK President, who pushed back aggressively on Trump's praise for the North Korean dictator. They're right. US media have no clue of what's going on.

Trump’s Cabinet Picks Have Made Republican Senators Look Like Chumps
RFK Jr., Pete Hegseth, and other Cabinet nominees assured senators such as Susan Collins that they wouldn’t act on their most controversial opinions. And yet, they’ve done just that.

Trump's allegations against Lisa Cook are not the story. The story is that a Trump loyalist is deeply corrupting agency processes for the express purpose of manufacturing pretexts for referring Trump's leading enemies for DOJ prosecution.

Dug into this process here:

The problem for Trump now is, his governing strategy depends on creating an escalating series of novel dramatic shitshows.

But he's running out of novelty now, all he can do is escalate and/or create variations on *existing* shitshows.

That does not lend itself as well to control of the newscycle

Trump 2.0 is Christmas for Criminals. Career fed law enforcement is getting purged, and the remaining ones are tasked—alongside increasing numbers of state and local police—with dressing up in military cosplay to do easy-peasy pickups of law-abiding immigrants at hearings or their workplaces.
NEW: Texas lawmakers are ordering all sheriff's offices to seek federal collaboration agreements with ICE.

Those agreements may be limited to jailhouses—or they may convert deputies into roving immigration agents. 🧵

Here’s the thing: line officers at DHS routinely lie about stuff like this. Some studies suggest manufactured statements occur in 15-20% of cases, sometimes higher. Border Patrol is the worst offender but ICE does it too.
