This must be what it felt like to live during the McCarthy period, yeah, in which conservatives wielded explicitly naked double standards to target their foes while the flagrant hypocrisy was generally swept under the rug by those institutions that could call it out?
When I worked at UT, the campus hosted Nazi speakers (twice, I think), and a professor called for cars to "run down" protestors.

When you want to stack agencies with cronies and or steer contracts to friends, first think u do is get rid of inspectors generals. Yep! fits in perfectly with the Trump corruption agenda. So where are the democrats, no one has a clue to what the inspectors generals do unless you tell them.
