I was attendance/safeguarding lead in a LA until 2011. I raised issues with DfE at various meetings/ events about EHE and the need for registration in the context of children missing education. DfE were, it seemed, running scared of the Education Otherwise lobby.

This is so mistaken and perverse. We need a BAN on driven grouse shooting. Not licensing, which gives a stamp of approval to an activity that will always be destructive and cruel.
What is the RSPB for?
We need grouse moor licensing in England now.

It's time for new legislation to make it happen.
It is a Time for Change in places like the Dark Peak. Grouse moor licensing can be a win-win solution to what so many are calling for - sustainable land management and more nature in our uplands.

Recent paper- with unexpected and puzzling results. No surprise many parents were anxious or depressed. Did not expect lower levels of empathy and skill from workers with those parents

Maybe unempathic workers increase parental anxiety and depression?
