A book like The Snack Hacker could so easily have been a lazy list of artless fakeaways, but is so much more creative than that, remixing everything from Egg McMuffins to supermarket naans, often in utterly unexpected ways. It’s the most fun cookbook I’ve owned in forever.

I do sort of love the look of Redmagic's OTT 11 Pro, which pairs proper liquid cooling with a vapor chamber, fan, and liquid metal. It doesn't hold much back.
Redmagic’s liquid-cooled gaming phone starts at $749
But if you want to show it off, it’ll cost $100 more.

If I was in charge of retooling VAR, it wouldn't be used for "important" moments like goals, penalties, and red cards — it would be used for black and white moments like offsides, or goal kicks vs. corners. Let the objective stuff be objective, and leave it to on-field refs for the rest.

I thought I'd like the Oppo Find X9 Pro, I didn't expect to love it. One of the year's best Android phones, with barnstorming battery life and a camera that feels on par with some of the 2025 Ultras

Confirmation that diet change (i.e. less meat and dairy, more beans and veg) plays no role in UK Gov's decarbonisation plan - they're opting instead for 'precision feeding', methane-suppressing supplements, and breeding programmes that aid intensification. Disappointing.

London does a weirdly good line in Georgian restaurants, but even so I think new-ish opening Saperavi Social is one of the better ones, and not just for its heaving, soupy khinkali
