I get that OAuth is not supported natively over ssh, but IDEs should find a way to work it out when it works perfectly fine with local files. I currently have two Zed windows open because I don’t want to use an API key when I have a paid plan with Codex. It’s needless friction.

The article in that rag about Jewish parents complaining that their kids have a moral backbone is hilarious. One of life’s great joys is seeing just how out of touch and incompetent these ghouls are.

Apple should have known that Alan Dye lacked taste when it first promoted him, but it’s good that he’s now someone else’s problem. Even better, that someone is Mark Zuckerberg.

Google’s lead in LLMs is not because they know how to design or innovate on a product, but mostly because they’re an aggregator. Using their APIs makes that patently obvious.

Trump suggests Khashoggi had it coming: "You're mentioning someone that was extremely controversial. A lot of people didn't like that gentleman that you're talking about. Whether you like him or didn't like him, things happen. But he knew nothing about it. You don't have to embarrass our guest."

2/The continuing treatment of Summers as some sort of Peer of the Realm (to use a phrase I take from Sam Haselby) is unacceptable by the economics profession if it serious about addressing the problems documented at the time Casselman wrote. These problems continue today of course.

Too bad Frame's display isn’t OLED. It doesn’t even sound that good for an LCD display on paper. I hope reviews prove me wrong, because the form factor is excellent.

I don’t need or want one, but I’m rooting for Machine to succeed. Anything that expands Linux’s user base is good news.
