Yesterday Arian Campo-Flores of the Wall Street Journal reported that the net worth of the top 0.1% of households in the U.S. reached $23.3 trillion this year, while the bottom 50% hold $4.2 trillion.

Argentina appears to have received more financial support from the U.S. than the $20 billion reported. The U.S. withdrew $870M from its account @ the International Monetary Fund shortly before a similar sum appeared in Argentina’s IMF fund just in time for that country to pay an $840M debt.

When Republicans shredded the nation’s social safety net in their July “One Big Beautiful Bill Act,” they timed most of the cuts to take effect after the 2026 midterm elections. But the shutdown is making clear now, rather than after the midterms, what the nation will look like w/o that safety net.

After returning from a trip to Asia yesterday, Trump left this morning for his 13th visit to the Trump Organization’s Florida property Mar-a-Lago. HuffPost notes this $3.4 million trip brings to $60.7 million the amount taxpayers have spent on the president’s 76 golf outings in his 2nd term.

Major General Burkett, Pentagon National Guard bureau, ordered the Guard in all the states to form “quick reaction forces” trained in “riot control.” Most states train 500 National Guard personnel, for a total nationwide of 23,500. The forces are supposed to be in place by January 1, 2026.

Our WH East Wing was demolished for a ballroom - paid for by donors.

These aren’t acts of benevolence or patriotism.

This is the oligarchy assuming control, insidiously becoming part of how we function.

OMG that's it! The purpose of the BALLROOM is to cover a little city of hundreds of bunkers. The ballroom was enlarged from 650 to 999 because they decided more people deserved bunkers.
