I value earnestness and enthusiasm and willingness to act.

unity is harder for us (left grab bag) since we don't wish to control or brainwash - the desire to be free, means we can't use the tactics of the right.
we will never be in full agreement but we can act together for a goal and argue later.

material vs information as a base currency. the shift from industrial production and local management of (food, necessities) has changed.
I have not yet seen enough writing that clearly lays a path forward, that isn't mired in 20th century idiom.

but I will gladly read all such things I can find.

Americanized Christianity is fanfic.

Catholics call it the "American heresy" (really!).

but it's fanfic and can be treated as such

we are in the 21st century and we need modern and future thinkers to proceed

standing on the shoulders of giants is fine but we are post industrial and need to figure out a new way of thinking and acting, the end goal of liberation is the same but the method and means have to adapt.

I don't watch that show and I'm missing your point.

is it that Dems picked right wing candidates and those candidates obstructed Dem policies that leftists would have been in favor of?

is the complaint that red areas didn't have enough centrist or leftist wins in the Senate and Congress?
June 27, 2025 at 12:41 AM
I'm telling you that none of the people we are discussing right now were chosen by leftists. plenty of leftists did vote for them, but they were Dem candidates. they obstructed their own party.
June 27, 2025 at 12:39 AM
so you're trying to talk to internet leftists who wanted sinema and manchin?

I'm not understanding your post, and I'm trying to understand your anger and your meaning.

I'm not siri and the robot can't help you here, please tell in plain language what you're trying to say

pretty close, they have ideas like "help and feed other people, provide medicine to the sick, be a community, care about each other, don't be xenophobic"

but there's no religion involved .

there are religious socialist groups, though, too. plenty of them.

a lot of those were also victims of voter suppression.
June 27, 2025 at 12:26 AM

June 27, 2025 at 12:25 AM
