#OTD in 1961, John Lewis was beaten at the Rock Hill bus terminal as a Freedom Rider protesting segregation.

In 2008, he returned and forgave the man who assaulted him.

The Republicans in Congress could remove Donald Trump any minute they wanted to. Blame them. Tell them to get rid of him. There is no daylight between the Republican Party and Donald Trump.

Sen. Jon Ossoff has signaled support for impeaching Trump.

On Trump's meme coin last week: “When the sitting president of the United States is selling access for what are effectively payments directly to him, there is no question that that rises to the level of an impeachable offense."

It’s good news in abortion rights when a state stops persecuting a young woman who miscarried a wanted pregnancy.

Georgia reluctantly dropped charges of “abandoning a dead body” because it had no basis in GA law.

Yay.

Honestly, not my lane as just a layperson, but part of me is hoping that the FAA and all the nation's airports just unilaterally decide to slow down flights, limit the number of arriving and departing flights, to match current Air Traffic Control staffing levels, for safety reasons. It's too much.
