The MMR vaccine is highly effective in preventing #measles. With high rates of MMR vaccinations in a community, we can prevent outbreaks. Protect those who are unable to be vaccinated, such as those with weakened immune systems or infants too young to be vaccinated. doh.wa.gov/measles

Measles is a highly contagious disease caused by the measles virus. Symptoms include high fever, cough, watery eyes, and a full-body rash. Infected people spread measles by coughing or sneezing. #Measles virus may remain in the air for 2 hours after an infected person has left. doh.wa.gov/measles
