We rescued this dog. He is a stone cold sweetie. Extremely gentle with the kids, amenable to training. Today he ate some plastic bullshit the kids had left laying around and he let me reach into his mouth and take it out. Adoption has been a huge unqualified success.

I didn’t post when our old dog died because there’s already enough stuff to be sad about in this dumb ol world. But after a suitable mourning period I can’t tell you what a relief it is to have a dog in the house again.
He just came to check on me in my office and then wandered off.
