🙌🏼 I’m not sure who had the amazing idea to invite this constitutional lawyer to a senate hearing that intended to prove Biden colluded with Meta to censor conservatives, but she took the opportunity to speak truth to power ✊🏼 on the hypocrite 👑 KING OF FREE SPEECH, Donald Trump, himself. 👏🏼 Brava!!

The world in 2025.

Hundreds of thousands of Germans oppose neo-fascism.

The top aide to the president of the United States supports it.

NIH doesn’t just support infectious disease research—it drives breakthroughs in cancer, childhood diseases, heart disease, diabetes & more.

Thanks to NIH, we have:
💉 Cancer immunotherapy
❤️ Cholesterol-lowering statins
🩸 Insulin for diabetes

Investing in NIH = investing in life-saving discoveries.

This now makes a lot more sense why CDC snuck in a table about H5N1 into the wildfire report.
Because they forced CDC scientists to publish on the health risks of wildfires to bolster Trump's attacks on CA Gov Newsom and blocked reports on H5N1.

a good part of me thinks that in addition to everything else, the reason they are scrubbing these stories is they do not want disadvantaged kids to believe they can aspire to anything other than their designated “black” or “hispanic” or “woman” job
This profile has been scrubbed from the site. Rose Ferreira grew up without reliable electricity, immigrated to NY, then survived homelessness and cancer on her way to NASA. She was so moved by images from the Webb telescope she wept. This is what’s at stake

Um.
It’s almost like they’re trying to control the news.
The Pentagon is doubling the number of media outlets losing their workspaces.

OUT: The New York Times, The Washington Post, NBC, CNN,
Politico, The Hill, The War Zone, and NPR.

IN: New York Post, The Washington Examiner, OANN, Newsmax, The Free Press, The Daily Caller, and Breitbart.

Children’s Hospital of Pennsylvania has indirect rate of 70%, but they probably didn’t want to list that atop Harvard because defunding a children’s hospital might be perceived as problematic.

This is devastating
These overhead rates are negotiated. Lowering it unilaterally to 15% is another way to destroy science in the US. Can’t wait to see what’s next.

We could have had Tim.
We’re focused on feeding our kids.

Investing in our schools.

Making sure child care is affordable.

Regardless of the chaos unfolding in Washington, we’re making Minnesota the best state for kids to grow up.

I see more criticism here of Democrats in Congress than I do condemnation of Republicans.

And yet it is the GOP who are enabling Trump.

It tells me a lot when I see you regularly bash our side but say nothing, ever, about the other.

Reflect on your choices. You may be helping the fascists.

Chortle. It’s a good day
Today, I reached the point in academia where a peer reviewer stated that there was a gap in my knowledge before going on to say that to rectify it I would need to read….. one of my articles. A milestone.
