So, Israel knew its bulldozer had exploded some of its own ordnance, and just wanted to destroy the peace settlment. So far, so normal. What IS new, is the US reining Netanyahu in. Long may it continue…

The Gaza war is a tactical victory - of course it is- for Israel, but a strategic failure. The am was to drive Palestinians out of Greater Israel which and increase its Jewish majority. However, despite killing 68,000 Palestinians, the balance has shifted the other way, with 145,900 Israelis leaving

The huge amount of space the vacuous UK media is giving to the story of Prince Andrew's defenestration as a "working" Royal, is obscuring another story. This is that Andrew's wife, Sarah, adopted two of the late Queen's corgis, Sandy and Muick. They too will lose their Royal status. Rough justice!

"Can Israel possibly swing the narrative back in its favor? While vast sums of money will, undoubtedly, be committed …the once-marginalized Palestinian narrative has surged, becoming a powerful, compelling moral authority worldwide". The resilience of the Palestinian people has won global sympathy.

As I say, I think Israel has miscalculated. The horror will no longer be possible to hide.

"Israel dropped more than 200,000 tons of explosives on the Gaza Strip and bombed one area more than 150 times - despite claiming it was a “safe humanitarian zone.”

Happy to recommend this new book… after all, one of the interviews undertaken by Richard includes my own thoughts on 'paradigms' - or, let me put it another way, on how to see the world in new ways.

What started as Trump speaking casually, like a man in a bar, has become Trump speaking like a DRUNKARD shouting in the street. It's an angry, incoherent tangle of phrases - the only link is hate.

Seeing Roger Waters pilloried for supporting Palestinian human rights and condemning war crimes likely amounting to genocide reminds me of the famous image of August Landmesser, the lone German man seen in a 1936 photo refusing to perform the Nazi salute.

The scale of what is going on in Gaza is hard to comprehend. But imagine a lfootball stadium full of people from Gaza - men, women and children. Mostly children. And then imagine them being shot dead one by one. 100 000 of them. That's what we're witnessing. 1/2
