Y'all, @kimkelly.bsky.social wrote a children's book about labor history and I think everyone should preorder it. While our enemies try to erase histories of oppression and liberation, this is a crucial time to keep history alive in our own homes, and wherever people of all ages exchange ideas.

How long until the Library of Congress faces a purge? Should historians be getting what resources they can now? I'm imagining anything related to the civil rights movement, anti-fascism, and even public health could be gone soon.

Washington is full of rule-following valedictorians who were inspired by the West Wing and did Model UN and moot court and studied their heroes and who believe in using government to help people.
