Here’s the thing about Tressie leaving. I’m sure a lot of people who follow me have been annoyed about my regular complaints about what feels like a unique type of reply guy and self righteous antagonism on here. But the reason I point it out is to try to get users and the Bsky team to intervene.

I agree with you wholeheartedly. It’s abundantly apparent that Elon's motives for buying Twitter go much further than his need for attention, whether positive or negative.
His partners want nothing more than to see democracy destroyed here.

My thought on banning TikTok is this. Why aren’t they trying to ban X ? Elon Musk and Alex Jones are every bit as dangerous to Democracy as China.
