Please come to the online launch event of this new project I’m co-convening with Dulcie McKenzie and Caroline Starkey. We’re doing new research to understand how our disciplines operate to disadvantage people on the basis of race and class identities, and to explore how this can be challenged.

I’m excited to see this additional evidence of the growing success Greener by Default is having in achieving large scale adoption of plant-based defaults in institutional catering. This is the new normal we need, and it’s going mainstream.
Greener by Default and Sodexo have announced that 400 US hospitals will soon be offering plant-based meals by default, which is a huge win for public health, the climate, and animal welfare!

The change could eliminate tens of MILLIONS of animal-based meals a year!

Labour’s Proposed Disability Cuts Will Kill People – We Need You To Help Us Fight
CN: DWP I need everyone in the UK who isn't directly affected by these potential cuts to read this. Sunday was my birthday, and I spent it in a planning meeting with DPAC (Disabled People Against Cuts) about how to fight Labour's Green Paper on cuts to disability benefits (because of course I did). I have spent the time since mostly curled in a small ball under my duvet, trying to get my heart rate down.
