I completed my Fulbright fellowship in Czech Republic. I focused on the methodology this year and it seems I achieved methodological innovation, still confirming. I learned a lot from fabulous mentor, contemplated a lot, got a lot of clarity. Going back to the States today, very mixed feelings.

🤓 What is the best literature to learn how to interpret semantic maps? I know how to google, I need a genuine recommendation. To learn not to become an expert in this area but to be able to include in analysis - to triangulate the data. Thanks 🙏🏻 #semantic #linguistics #nlp #computationallinguistics

It’s end of March and I have had it enough of being married via FaceTime during otherwise fabulous fellowship abroad. This week will be different, small joys are all we have now ❤️

How am I? I made those and ate about 20 since yesterday. They are not croissants but they do taste buttery thanks to a tiny butter cube placed on top before baking. It is a Serbian recipe, the word is kiflica, borrowed from German kipfl. The entire Europe makes them with slight variations.

If I don’t read news I am doing really fine, like great. Being across the ocean also helps. Maybe if I mute Jerry I can reach excellent.

I just wanted to share with you. I provoked discussion posting a photo because I previously had an argument with people living abroad for years and enjoying “socialism”, but voting for Trump’s most restrictive policies. Some comments on antisemitism were deleted but this is what I managed to find.

OK, everyone, and I mean EVERYONE, why am I being constantly misgendered here? Is it my photo or/and my name? Because if it is my name, it is their severe lack of education (“a” is a feminine ending in most Indo-European languages) , but if it is my photo - seriously, do I look like a guy? Or bots?
