One of my favourite pubs in Bethnal Green is The Palm Tree. It was once part of a terraced row of slum housing but now stands alone in the middle of Mile End Park. Preserved by the government after the war as essential but rest of area turned into an urban parkland. Bomb craters turned into ponds.

The ICC can prosecute individuals from countries that are not signatories. The rest of the world has basically said that is the case. The US Congress has a law that requires the US president to attack The Netherlands if the ICC dares to prosecute an American citizen.
