The idea that Trump is negotiating with Zelensky in good faith is absurd. He was impeached for literally blackmailing Zelensky! Treating Trump as an honest broker is beyond preposterous — he’s still mad his attempt to extort Zelensky into interfering in our 2020 election failed.

Is the press seriously going to cover this story without mentioning that Trump was impeached in his first term for withholding aid to Ukraine to pressure Zelensky into fabricating dirt on Biden to help Trump win in 2020? Seems relevant!
