When MAGA chuds gloat that the “Democrat Party” is less popular than Trump, it’s because their own base apparently hates Party leadership worse than Republicans do. And since they give Republicans everything always, that’s understandable.
This deal to reopen the government is fucking disgraceful.

Tens of millions will lose their healthcare. Trump will be emboldened.

This is exactly what’s wrong with Democratic Party leadership and why we need more people in Congress who will actually hold the line.

When the Democrats retake power, they need to make Hunter Biden the Attorney General.
lol. Emil Bove intervened. The guy that Senate Republicans just confirmed for a lifetime position on the federal bench.

A really minor detail, but Putin is 5’6”. So Trump really does shrink in his presence.
We already knew in 2018 that he was a traitor.

Still waiting for the outraged demands for laissez-faire from the tribe of self-styled libertarian comedians who are so upset about cancel culture whenever someone says their anti-trans “humor” isn’t funny. Maybe they need to groupthink workshop it first.

How long before protesters start dressing up as I.C.E. agents en masse wherever I.C.E. appears to Thomas Crown them?
Looking at Amazon.

So... if I sew these patches on to some tactical gear and yell I.C.E., then everyone needs to believe me and do whatever I tell them?

Nice. And I can cover my face while doing it. Wow! Total impunity for domestic terrorists. Awesome.

So do we have a name for the Nazi-transitioned AI yet? Groyk? Groyker? Groebbels?

When trying to explain why MAGA is fascist and “socialist”/social democratic policies are good, this is a great data point to start with. Followed up by the simple economic fact of growing the economy by empowering the working poor.
An astonishing figure in this piece:

Last year, the U.S. budgeted $12.8B for new affordable housing.

This country is now poised to spend $45B on immigrant detention centers.

That's nearly *four times* as much on cages as on homes—in the middle of a devastating housing and homelessness crisis.
Are We About to Have Labor Camps in the United States of America?
If you think that’s far-fetched, then you really haven’t been paying attention to what the Trump administration and Republicans in Congress have been up to lately.

Yes! It irks me no end when people refer to posts from his propaganda network as “truths.” Can we call them “troots” instead? And his platform “Troot Social” or at least “Truth (So/Called)”? As for the Trooter-in-Chief, well he can have the Shrubbian nickname “Trootie Troot.”

Someone is REALLY desperate for a win on any front, but since said person claimed he would end the war in 24 hours before he even took office, he’s already lost. Bigmouth strikes again.
In my adult lifetime the Republicans went from “Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall!” to “Vladimir, STOP!”

When the opposition calls bipartisanship “date rape,” continuing to work with them, as the Democrats have in the 22 years since they bragged about this publicly (after practicing it for decades), is some serious battered wife syndrome shit.
Number one takeaway from the insane turnout at fight the oligarchy rallies, while chuck schumer cancels his little book tour and gretchen whitmer hides her face, is that there is zero constituency for bipartisanship
BREAKING: 36k people showed up in LA for Bernie and AOC’s rally. In the off year.

Americans are pissed — and anyone ignoring that is making a big mistake.

So, when the whiny excuse for the Wile E. Coyote administration predictably becomes “we inherited a mess,” please refer back to this WSJ article published a week before the dawn of Trumpageddon II:

The Next President Inherits a Remarkable Economy
The high quality of recent economic growth should put a wind at the back of the White House’s next occupant.

Seriously, leftist positions have polled far better with the US populace than contextually equivalent D or R or bipartisan positions since at least 2006. Obama won office twice by cosplaying a leftist as a candidate before reverting to corporate D mode. And Bernie has shown that your strategy works.
going to start calling myself a centrist and then listing all my leftist views as proof, just going to start moving the overton window by force

And to be clear, in this case “Greenland” is just a variable name for any value in the set containing all nations of Planet Earth.
