Agree with you re genAI. But it's not only AI that is moving us away from needing to do animal experiments. Many platforms are being developed to recapitulate human conditions. For example, a tumour & its microenvironment that can then be used to test drugs patients might respond to.

Sounds like you have done him proud. Jobs well done all around. Again, I am sorry for your loss. I don’t think I ever met Jim Peacock but his name is so familiar for Australian scientists.
