Someone posted this song on IG earlier. I forgot this song even existed lol. What was ironic is I would see this song more on BET than I did on MTV. I didn't have BET in 92 on our cable package but would see it when I would go see my girl in Holyoke.

Its crazy how mid budget 80s movies were so bad but they are still classics in my mind lol. When I think about Thor this guy still comes to my mind first because I loved this horrible TV movie as a kid lol

College years I was deep in the club life. But I was the one throwing parties, DJing on the radio promoting parties, everywhere putting up fliers, interviewing or setting up interviews for every Hip Hop artist on the NY to Boston chittlin circuit...all while broke

I will never understand why reporters keep asking if Mamdani is the face of the Democratic party if he wins? Did Deblasio become the face when he had similar leanings? Dems politics when you're not in the Northeast is completely different than other parts of the country.

ESPN used to play the Kurtis Blow version of Basketball during their promo commercials. Now they are using the Lil Bow Wow version. I understand Lil Bow Wow fans are in their 30s now but can we switch it back to the original please lol

Wow end of an era. I used to watch Super Sentai as a kid when I lived in Hawaii in the early 80s. When I saw Power Rangers later in the 90s I was like wait a minute this looks familiar. That channel in Hawaii was my gateway to anime, shows like this & all kinds of Japanese TV.
According to the Kyodo news agency, the Super Sentai series will end with the currently airing No․1 Sentai Gozyuger show. Reports state income from events, merch, and films could not cover production costs of the long-running series.

Wow end of an era. I used to watch Super Sentai as a kid when I lived in Hawaii in the early 80s. When I saw Power Rangers later in the 90s I was like wait a minute this looks familiar. That channel in Hawaii was my gateway to anime, shows like this & all kinds of Japanese TV.
Its insane that Jonathan Hickman might be the 2nd or 3rd best writer when it comes to T'Challa or anything Black Panther related. He gets it. Same as Priest and Hudlin.

First time I lived in Massachusetts, in high school, we took a school trip to Salem, Mass. Not going to lie I was bored to tears. Wasnt my thing. Went back home & next day we took a school trip to the Boston aquarium. Loved it. To this day Ill never understand why people take vacation trips to Salem

Dash Galaxy and the alien asylum is the worst game on the NES I ever played. But the most disappointing game I ever played on the NES was X Men. Dope box, dope opening screen...horrible graphics and game play.

I've never listened to that Angela Rye & Bakari Sellers podcast before. Curious because of the Joe Budden controversy. If that didn't confirm why have a problem with a certain type of Black academic being overrepresented in news shows I don't know what does. Extreme arrogance lol
