Its crazy how mid budget 80s movies were so bad but they are still classics in my mind lol. When I think about Thor this guy still comes to my mind first because I loved this horrible TV movie as a kid lol

So Dani Moonstar is getting her own series. Taking me back to my childhood. While I loved X Men until about 86 New Mutants was my favorite comic. Warlock and Dani were my favorite characters.

Its insane that Jonathan Hickman might be the 2nd or 3rd best writer when it comes to T'Challa or anything Black Panther related. He gets it. Same as Priest and Hudlin.

Dash Galaxy and the alien asylum is the worst game on the NES I ever played. But the most disappointing game I ever played on the NES was X Men. Dope box, dope opening screen...horrible graphics and game play.

The Fall of the Mutants house ads were some of the best ad campaigns that Marvel ever ran. Flipped the real life "Do you know where your kids are" campaign to "what your kids are". When I saw this as a kid I was amped.

I am really hoping that they release a few copies before New York Comic Con. I'm not going but I'm dying to get a copy. Will gave to wait until it hits the secondary market. @sanfordgreene.bsky.social killed it

This is how I know I'm officially old. Today is the 30 year anniversary of Hackers. I have watched this moved probably 20x over the years. Probably more. I can quote it verbatim.

Easy answer. Rome. One of HBO best shows.

I remember this ad. When video games were still considered devices for kids Neo Geo had several ads that focus hard on adults. Im guessing because of the steep price at the time.

There was a lot that threw me off about Highest 2 Lowest but this one was a biggie lol. The average teenage boy was not hanging Kamala posters on his wall during the election.

When you saw these in the 80s you knew you were going to get film if you opened it. In the 90s it could have been film, quarters, weed, etc. Especially weed.

I remember these Sonys big screens as kid being in stores but I only saw them in one or two houses in my entire life.

Finding out Aaron Lewis is an idiot when it comes to interpreting song lyrics is unfortunately how I find out Staind is from Springfield, Mass.

This is easy because I remember it like it was yesterday. Run DMC - Raising Hell. I was 10 and wore that tape out. A few months later my dad bought me Beastie Boys - License to ill while in the Phillipines. Don't know if he would have got if he listened to it first lol.

Talking to a friend who is about 3 to 4 years younger about CDsin the 80s and early 90s. She didn't remember that they used to have CD long boxes. They got rid of them because environmental groups complained about them as well as store owners when it came to shelf space.

Thor was never my favorite comic series but man this is one of my favorite comic issues ever. This might be the most cathartic single comic book issue ever. If you were reading Marvel during the Civil War era watching Tony get his ass kicked just felt soooo right.

Got a piece of Marvel & Black Panther history. This is Two Gun Kid 77. Written by Stan Lee drawn by Dick Ayers. This is the prototype suit Marvel used as inspiration to create Black Panther suit. Character is nicknamed The Panther. Marvel reused the suit & name for T'Challa in Fantastic Four 52

Reading Fantastic Four #250 that came out in 83 & Spider-Man mentions the Electric Company TV show as why Franklin is calling him "Spidey". I thought he was called Spidey before that in the comics? By Mary Jane or Flash. Before the show.

I wish Michael Jordan attended today's race. Would have been cool to have both owners kissing the bricks.

It was crazy how much of a chokehold Yie Ar Kung Fu had in the arcades I would go to. In the teen center down the street from me you would have to wait in a line to play this game. It took the place of Karate Champ as the favorite in that spot.

I had to grab this on sale. These shows are how I was first introduced to the DC Universe as a kid. These cartoons are also why I originally hated Batman. Wasn't til about 83/84 from reading the comics where I was like okay I was wrong. And went back to reading his 70s stuff.
