yeah again in retrospect I tend to agree. my visceral reaction was to side with Bobby but you have convinced me of Sacs sincerity on this. Im just cynical because theres isnt another made guy in the show who wouldnt performatively do the same thing (love his wife and kids, for good reason or nah)

I have this type of gentleman in my family, and I do know that they are mostly less nuanced than youd want to give them credit for and more base assholes who need validation for their egos or they will cause scenes. This is true in too many cultures not just Italians ofc.

I havent rewatched it in a year or so, So Im guessing the ziti scenes impressed themselves upon me more than the Ginny scenes. in retrospect I do agree. He def truly loved her too and was frustrated with the fact he needed to prove anytthing about it to them.

fair enough, for me it came down to who I gave more benefit of the doubt to I guess. Theres no world where what bacala did reads as anything but tragic. Theres technically a possibility that what sac did wasnt on the up and up. if it was, he was equally valid, but im not as SURE about it
