Luna take this post with a grain of salt I believe it is referring to THIS. As someone with severe depression and suicidal ideation in my past, I can say that sometimes coping with said things is joking about them in a seemingly insensitive way. also decent chance he is just totally ok and 'joking'

idk if this picture does it justice but this is kinda what im used to. The crust is chewier and only crisp on the outmost layer if that makes sense. Im guessing in the USA its easier to sell them with a more hoagie like bread, which we are used to on "sub" style sandwiches

Im not sure how this shows a difference to what I said I experience here. It seems like they imply a vietnamese banh mi bread is fluffier than french bread. this is kinda what Im referring to, a softer fluffier version of a baguette. Thats what we get here.
