I'm not as negative as a lot of people on here about LLMs and AI because I think they have a legitimate academic use. However, they work best in limited, specifically tailored use cases. In my experience, the more general the model is, the less reliable it becomes.

LLMs just do not have the ability to evaluate which principles correctly apply to physical problems.

Because they are so sycophantic, I have been able to get them to reject fundamental laws by asking questions like, "could this be used to bypass the 2nd law of thermodynamics?"
