Burroughs just kinda yammers on about ass fucking boys, and so much use of the word "jissom"... I can't even begin to summarise this idiot episodic and ultimately dated piece of literature.

I can safely say that my enjoyment of the book was highest in the first 20 pages, then it's just a wall of naked boys cumming into a volcano or some shit, followed by a treatise on ass-fucking, and dense, kinda racist shit in between. I've read a lot of Beat stuff but this....this was not good.

I can safely say that my enjoyment of the book was highest in the first 20 pages, then it's just a wall of naked boys cumming into a volcano or some shit, followed by a treatise on ass-fucking, and dense, kinda racist shit in between. I've read a lot of Beat stuff but this....this was not good.
It seems so strange that we thought a non-smoking section was a reasonable compromise. Smoking indoors seems like barbarism to me in this era.

I like musicals. Like... More than you probably think.
I do even like some Andrew Lloyd Webber. I don't care for Phantom, and I think Cats is genuinely terrible.
I don't care that it's a TS Eliot thing. It stinks.
Anyway, I guess I'll have a Spicy Chicken Combo, fries, diet coke.
