It's interesting to me how some people will find their lifelong creative calling early in life and dedicate a large chunk of their life just to single-mindedly realizing that one creative vision... It's like, are we as humans wired to hyper-specialize into certain roles to be a stronger whole?

I'm genuinely happy and fulfilled because I'm writing and making original stories again, but there is so much revision involved...
Every revision and iteration makes my work a lot better, but it's so much mental effort to think through everything and then act on those thoughts

i take frenzy damage every time i see someone go "well i just use it for the boring stuff". what are you TALKING about? if it's boring or unimportant, why are you putting it in? NPC dialogue is fertile ground for worldbuilding, creating verisimilitude, conveying important information, and hijinks!!
