Totes! I'm really big into playing the role of a character, as if I were an actor in a movie. I want gameplay to be canon, and act accordingly.

I also understand that there will be design flaws in any shipped product, but want to engage with something as it was intended an act of good faith.

Prone/crawling and especially rolling has always been OP, doesn't mean camo isn't useful while crouching/walking! Being able to play in a non-silly way by using knowledge of camo systems could also be a form of advanced play rather than just abusing rolling exclusively

Was camo vibes based? I remember quite a few missions that had clear sections that were rocks, soil, and grass, mapping perfectly to the camo options available. It was harder to understand the consequences of that, but I def felt more exposed wearing olive camo on top of a rock!

Sort of like how Trump somehow represents the poor and wealthy at the same time

A bunch of indie games that were going to come out around then have been forced to push their releases into the "no go" fall season. Very sincerely, people's livelihoods are at stake.

If you're making the most anticipated indie game in the world, do not do this! In THIS economy!

epic store's not great, the launcher sucks, etc etc whatever. but they did the math on what they needed to charge developers to line their own pockets plenty and they came up with 12%

twelve percent

steam charged 30 to every PC game for 20 years and see no issue here

This probably was a case of bad timing for Patch, but I think the real takeaway is that no one is a loser here-- Patch will almost certainly hit its goal.

The takeaway is that retro-Pokemon games are a good bet, but you need to not only capitalize on nostalgia but forge an identity all your own.

Patch showed a bunch of systems. Crown mostly showing the character running through pretty art. Patch is obviously much further along in development. Also, Crown's very low-budget anime sequence cheapens the apparent quality of the entire package in my opinion (even though the pixel art is good!)
