Reverence for life is my guiding principle.
Ethically everything else can be calculated from that, but it can sometimes be difficult.

Don't, and I can't stress that enough don't go to the US, if you don't absolutely have to. The rule of law has been abandoned.

Only in America could a Ketamine-infused South African oligarch call a navy captain, astronaut and sitting US senator "a traitor" for supporting our allies and standing up to Russia...

At a time when the rule of law is under global attack, those electronic books people have made the Sunday Times bestseller #FakeLaw a Kindle Monthly Deal, a stonking 99p.

Those in power misrepresent the law to advance their own agendas.

Don’t let them lie to you.

Is this the time to remind everyone that this sh!t show started with Johnson and the Russian interference in the Brexit referendum. It’s time Starmer released the unredacted Russia Report.

Just the fact that by removing something from their platform they believe it can automatically be removed from what we celebrate shows how insecure and insignificant Google is. True, they’re huge, but we the users are enormous.

I managed to delete all my Meta accounts yesterday.
I am told that the 30 day irretrievable deletion never occurs and the accounts remain dormant forever...?

How many times can Hannah Arendt come to mind in one day?!

For those who don’t know what I mean, I’m envious that you get to read her work here for the first time.

We don't defeat populists by calling out their lies. We tried that. Facts are complicated, and the audience for populism wants simplicity. It won't work.

We defeat populists by enacting bold political ideas that improve lives for the disenfranchised, and make the world seem less grotesquely unfair.
