If it's the FHA offering 50-yr options, that's literally the government exploiting low income homeowners and first time homebuyers, because that's the target populations they are supposed to be HELPING

And remember, every mortgage is amortized, meaning more of the payment goes toward interest at the start. Your first payment of 1579.21? 1500 of that goes to interest.
