Reguilon is (was?) a fine defensive LB. We don’t play that way, Reggie never displayed the attacking characteristics necessary for this role. We shouldn’t handicap our attack to get a little more defensive. Comparing Destiny’s stats to the rest of the league, only one glaring deficiency (read alt):
Destiny Udogie’s defensive stats compared to other fullbacks in the Premier League for the 24/25 season. He is among the league’s best tacklers, interceptions, and especially possession won in the final 3rd, a characteristic prized in Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou’s system. His one glaring weakness is number of times dribbled past, which is near the bottom of the league in comparison.
