Although there have been a few sightings over the years, Great Egrets are not common in Vancouver, Canada, so I was thrilled to get to see one in the summer of 2023. I had never seen this "neck swaying" behaviour, which is believed to be a hunting strategy. #WaderWednesday #birds #birdphotography
