1/2 OK, so those boys at Panorama were a bit stupid, ... -in October last year.

Funny, ain't it (?), that the toys have taken so long to be thrown out of the pram, while we hear "the BBC has caused President Trump to suffer overwhelming financial and reputational harm".

"...acknowledges impact...".

Starmer, pre-Election, on rejoining EU "...not in my lifetime..."
Reeves (similar timing) , on engineering EU Single Market membership "No".

Does "Acknowledgement" amount to admitting a failed policy?
Hmm... Didn't think so...,,,,, 😕

Government finally acknowledges 'severe' economic impact of Brexit
It looks like Keir Starmer's government is finally acknowledging one of the main reasons behind the UK's financial difficulty and sluggish growth: Brexit.

Irrelevant King meets Wannabe (Irreverent) King/Supreme Leader.
Windsor Castle and Chequers.. Nice plan to keep it well away from London, but still more of a joint forces military exercise, with massive security, esp from UK +US special forces.
SAS must be lovin it

The new Banksy mural outside the High Court has now been covered up.
Maybe, to be fair, the mural should also show the judge with a gun held to his head by UKGov, and the police top brass on the bylines trying to hide their eyes in horrified disownership.

How is the gag-order on UK politicians + media being enforced, and by whom?

These words from a US Republican.
So, why can't this viewpoint get the necessary soap-box in the UK?
Farage squirms as Rep. Jamie Raskin obliterates the "Putin-loving, free speech imposter, Trump sycophant".

Please share as widely as possible.

Why are our hapless British politicians incapable of making such a speech?

Self-made satire... 😅😉
Charlie Stayt, "A charity rowing crew was approached by the coastguard after Reform UK MP Rupert Lowe mistook them for a boat full of asylum seekers"

"After the coast guard confirmed it wasn't a boat full of asylum seekers, Mr Lowe said it was a false alarm"

The UK tends to follow US social trends. Let's just hope that we don't get beyond the Dickensian
extremes of poverty just to line the pockets of the rich.

1/2 Yes, this is really exciting
A new, progressive, leftish UK political party which has set one of its fundamental ideals as redistributing wealth.

But is anyone, like me, scared this will split Labour voters and thus make the next GenElec even easier for Reform?

(more... see 2/2)
It will go higher.

It was 1970, and we watched the UK TV show Top of the Pops.
The Single "Paranoid" was 2 minutes 50 seconds of pure energy.
Later, I didn't have any time for Ozzy's addictions, or reality shows...
But early 70s Sabbath was a revelation.

Just a rhetorical question...

If there was just about any other US President than the current one, would you, for a moment, be tempted to believe the words of the Supreme Leader of religious fanatics above those of the US Defense Secretary?
