After navigating life with DID (dissociative identity disorder) for half a century myself, I now actively support others dealing with trauma-based dissociative disorders.

I provide special (safe!) support for OEA/RAMCOA victims.

See https://didmentor.eu/
Will do.

What made you think I'm a general 'mental health advocate'? I would never claim such a thing. I support people with (traumagenic) OSDD/DID.

The amount of damage being done to me and people around me by narcissists is such that I chose long time ago to avoid interaction if at all possible…

This can happen even without any obvious trigger, sometimes just a seemingly innocent emotion can trigger it, like simply being happy…

TW: abuse

Like when you were punished every time you expressed happiness as a child. So you can't be happy anymore until you successfully dealt with that trauma.

Sadly, it doesn't work like that… 🫂

Trauma basically sets up some relatively simple 'pattern matching' in your brain, to trigger you if it recognizes the pattern which put you in danger before. When the actual danger is gone, the response may still get triggered by mistake. Yeah, that sucks 🙄

Anyway, maybe you could try acting less condescending towards people you clearly know nothing about? A well-deserved block 👋

I only provide supplemental support, as a well-informed 'expert by experience'. This is spelled out in all my profiles, and the (tiny) Bluesky one provides a link to this.

Funny thing is, originally I am a system engineer/architect 😎

Your other point: I am not a "licensed professional" and never claimed such a thing. Don't even aspire it. I'm happy to work together with established therapists like I do now.

Even in the relatively small Bluesky community here I noticed several very likely 'non-genuine' DID accounts. They may be closer to you than you think… 👀

For obvious reasons I'm not going to name any; the link above provides a good start if anyone wants to do a bit of research into this.

Here's a fairly decent overview of the extent of the problem: did-research.org/controversy/...

"Unfortunately, pseudogenic (non-genuine) DID is more common than many might wish to believe."

Imitative/factitious/malingered DID is a significant problem - not just for health professionals but also very much the influence on online spaces.

The mis/disinformation being spread online is a very real problem and doing a lot of damage. See these reddit discussions about the McLean video, which seem fairly balanced:

I have always openly warned about that issue and will keep doing so. Anyone who dislikes my stance on this - please unfollow or block me. Saves me the trouble.
September 13, 2025 at 12:12 PM
Joke is on you… I found some time to "web surf" and laughed so hard 😂. Yeah I remember the fuss about that McLean video but really didn't care about it. Talk about a tempest in a teapot. They could have been bit more political but their message was sound and important and I absolutely agree with it.

Anyway, I'm done with the barrage of insults, lies, and false accusations from you. I totally get why the ISSTD wants nothing to do with you. Same. So you earned yourself a well-deserved block.
September 13, 2025 at 11:48 AM
Disagreeing with the loose way you use a rather specific term is hardly 'trying to pick a fight'. *You* somehow just couldn't stop attacking me after that. I really think you are the one who looks unprofessional here (and not just a little). Why are you even here if you can't handle any discussion?
September 13, 2025 at 11:48 AM
"sick your clients on folks"?? I didn't. She actually follows me here on Bluesky, can you even imagine? 🙄

Ah so this is who Katie Keech is! Figures…

"I don't think you know exactly who you're talking to" - well, your words speak for themselves! I may not know *who* you are, but I know *what* you are…
