Happy for the Pirates. They achieved their goal of ruining Bubba Chandler. Now they don’t have to worry about having another Skenes situation where they have a good player on their team that they might have to pay some time in the future.

I’d normally be pretty annoyed that I couldn’t watch this run a perfecto because I’d be blacked out. But, for some reason, MLBTV has been stuck thinking I’m in New York ever since I travelled there for work nearly a month ago.

Kevin McGonigle strikes again, this time with a go-ahead two-run HR in the 9th to pull Double-A Erie ahead of Chesapeake. The Tigers' top prospect has 24 RBIs in 23 games since his promotion from West Michigan last month.
