Ozempic and co. sure have their place, but I'm 10 lbs overweight w/ a proven history of being able to reduce bodyfat at will, so it ain't with me. Every time I hear folx I know on it I say a prayer for them and to Fen-Phen. 3 months of it 30 years ago taught me the dark side of weight loss pharma. 🤷🏼

Today I drove my car in Lebanon for the first time. There are few traffic controls here, it's all about the rhythm, which actually is far more intuitive than it seems from the passenger seat. It was fun!

Rambling and living has made me appreciate American English more deeply. I rarely get to use American slang, rather deeper ways to use simple words to communicate with non-native speakers. Lately loving on "like a bat outta hell" and "greased lightning", both phrases made it into musical canon too.
