What many politicians don't realise - or want to understand - is that many of the "highly-skilled" immigrants whose labour they crave were raised by the same asylum seekers and refugees they openly despise. They take the racist political rhetoric personally, and act accordingly. Why wouldn't they?
"Record numbers of overseas-trained doctors are quitting the UK, leaving the NHS at risk of huge gaps in its workforce, with hostility towards migrants blamed for the exodus...the NHS is so heavily reliant on doctors from elsewhere – 42% of its entire medical workforce qualified overseas."
All those people, including current government, who falsely claim migrants are to blame for failings with the NHS, along with infrastructure in general, are in for one hell of a shock with how much worse things will get with Labour's anti-immigration policies.

Patient, sobbing: But Doctor, I AM Pagliacci!
ChatGPT: Apologies. I didn't realise when recommending Pagliacci's epic show to cure your depression that you were the genius himself. I'm impressed! With regards to your initial question, I can recommend seeing the Great Clown Pagliacci.

One day I was chewing a stick of gum and as it lost all flavor I thought "ugh this tastes like plastic." Then it dawned on me.

I wrote about the critical ingredient that changed the world of modern gum.
Modern gum is being marketed as a panacea for wellness. But it’s really just plastic that we chew on. Hannah Seo reports:
The Most Important Ingredient in Chewing Gum
You’re essentially gnawing on plastic.

Man goes to doctor. Says he's depressed. Says life seems harsh and cruel. Doctor says, 'Treatment is simple. Great wrestling champion John Cena is in town tonight. Go and tell him you can’t see him. That should pick you up.' Man bursts into tears. Says, 'But doctor…I am John Cena.’

you can’t “I told you so” over ethnic cleansing. mass death is not a game. if you treat it like it is, your soul is rotten. you might as well have taken part in it yourself.

we should be concerned about the impacts of social media on kids and teens, but i don’t think we’re worried nearly enough about what it’s doing to middle aged people and seniors

Aaron Swartz died because rapacious capitalists insisted that sharing knowledge and ideas — not for profit but to enrich society — was theft. Now we have a whole Silicon Valley industry devoted to undoing artistic copyright, and for what? Fake emails and shitty advertising copy.
