This is such an important point. Trump and his allies are long-known to "ask" for things they claim they can't get and then blame the deep state when it doesn't "arrive." All while completely ignoring the rules elsewhere.
Folks--especially folks like @gtconway.bsky.social who knows better--need to make clear this is a limited hangout.

WSJ claimed letter was in the materials REVIEWED by FBI. That would mean it's NOT covered by 6(e), and could be released right away.

The involvement of GJ is just a bid to get to no.
If she had done this first, she might have avoided (or at least minimized) this whole mess.

But it won’t help him now. Because now everyone’s going to ask, what’s pertinent? What’s all the other material not presented to a grand jury? ...

Narrator: Noem is saying FEMA will look like a mass casualty event.
Noem: "What you saw happen in Texas was much more how FEMA will look in the future."

A good moment to re-up this.
NEW: In the Declaration of Independence, Thomas Jefferson listed 27 grievances to prove that King George III was a tyrant. We looked at how many of those now apply to Donald Trump. Have a good Fourth of July and pass this on.

Here are the Declaration of Independence’s grievances against King George III. Many apply to Trump.
It's uncanny.

So far, zero judges have agreed we are in a "state of war."
Rep. Michael McCaul on Stephen Miller threatening to suspend habeas corpus: "The courts are gonna decide this one as to whether this invasion in fact constitutes what would be a state of war. Some would say it would."

It's 2015. President Barack Obama has accepted a "sky palace" jumbo jet from the Qatari government, which he'll own after he leaves office. "Everybody relax," he says in an interview with the New York Times. Everyone does. The networks then televise the military parade in his honor on his birthday.

Trump didn’t declare martial law. He built it. His April 28 executive order militarizes police, guts oversight, and punishes dissent. The Insurrection Act report is hidden. Democracy is being signed away—one order at a time. #Resist #Authoritarianism Full Article: www.facebook.com/share/p/16KE...

Here’s the best way to understand what’s happening. Trump genuinely wants to impose a 19th century mercantilist model that would crash the economy and destroy the global trading order but the idea is just so colossally stupid and destructive, he can’t actually do it. So we get this.

You set the house on fire, watched it burn, and then lost your nerve and put it out. You now have a partially burned house. Great job.
