The 4 hr game is special and should help the case. Rarer than a perfect game
For the decade spanning 1997-2006, the *average* season for Carlos Delgado was:

37 HR
116 RBI
.287/.397/.571
.969 OPS
148 OPS+
4.2 bWAR

Delgado has been overlooked by HoF voters before but he has a real case for Cooperstown. One of eight players being considered for HoF entry today.

6 years since their last LP, my fave Canadian band has a new one out tomorrow - includes Alex Lifeson from Rush; and Laurie Anderson. Search it out and give it a listen!

A rather somber piece of cartography. A map with details of every soldier from the city of Toronto and fell in WW2.

Really brings into perspective the sacrifice paid citizenry of Toronto for the greater good. Also a morbid reminder of how compact the city was back then.

The First World War took the lives of about 2,900 Toronto residents, or about two per cent of the city’s male population. This map owes a lot to the Canadian Great War Project, which was generous about sharing its research. /2 t.co/Z2HMqKg2dk

Also stop saying the better team lost. Yesavage, Hoffman and Bieber hung breaking balls and dodgers crushed them. Jays made running mistakes. Yamamoto shoved. I get the sentiment but the jays created opportunities but didn't finish job. That's baseball.

Holy shit.

Game 7 between the Jays and the Mariners just ran an pro-free trade ad, targeted to American workers, decrying tariffs.

The twist being that, if you don't catch it beforehand, Ronald Reagan is revealed as the speaker in the closing seconds.

What PAC is this? The Province of Ontario.

It looks as though Marco Estrada will throw out the ceremonial first pitch before tonight's Game 7.

Estrada is arguably the greatest post-season starting pitcher in #Bluejays history. In six playoff starts for #Jays, he only allowed more than two earned runs once and averaged 7 innings per start.
