Checkout Makie 0.23 on Julia. They added a force-directed auto-label system!! makie.org/website/b… (Okay, I guess in 0.22.8, see the pic). This will be so useful for labeling data. My students will tell you I always ask about “outliers” in plots, so I’m sure they will appreciate it.
