2025 is going to be an interesting year for space policy: Europe plans to reclaim its status as a space power. Trump could once again rethink U.S. space policy. Elon Musk may become ✨the✨ White House advisor on the matter. China is forging ahead with ambitions to lead in space.

The thunderous applause as Trump signs an executive order to withdraw from the Paris Agreement, while California is on high alert for new fires, is just heartbreaking. ❤️‍🩹

“Will pay any amount.”

Feels like one of those futile pleas we’re going to hear from wealthy people more and more in the era of climate change.

A fascinating visual which not only illustrates how air temperature is persistently warming, but also points out the broadening distribution of temperature differences, illustrated through the shortening and broadening of the graph.

Different rates of warming may lead to extreme weather events.
Time for the @bsky.app community to see one of my favorite visualizations of climate change...

2 people to lead the Dept. of Government Efficiency? Look, it doesn't take a genius to know that every organization thrives when it has 2 leaders. Go ahead, name a country that doesn't have 2 presidents. A boat that sets sail without 2 captains. Where would Catholicism be without the popes?

Hello, Bluesky! Excited to try this new space. Seems so relaxed with plenty of variations and lack of rage bait.
