Here is what the DOJ has to do if they redact anything. Note the reporting requirements for redactions, which is a backstop on the “narrowly tailored and temporary” requirement above, and the required naming of public officials and dignitaries.

(A) IN GENERAL.—The Attorney General shall declassify, to the maximum extent possible, any information that the Attorney General would otherwise withhold or redact as classified information under this section. REPORT TO CONGRESS.
