You will have to pay a premium for a monitor. Prices for TVs are subsidized by advertising and selling your data. As are Roku devices. Even with a TLC Roku TV, we never use the Roku software built in, but an older AppleTV (with Siri disabled). None of this is great.

Yes, but if there’s a less invasive streaming device with better privacy controls, I’m unaware of it.
